Can you believe the World Cup is upon us. All that build up, all the stress of will we be ready? Move it to Australia.. blah blah! I hope those writers are eating their humble pie. It has been amazing with lots of "Gees!" Truly Ayoba!!

I have been lucky enough to go to 3 games at that amazing new Greenpoint Stadium. It has worked like clockwork and that fan walk with all the shouting a dancing was incredible. We even took young Matthew to the Netherlands vs. Cameroon game. He never stopped talking during the entire game, and was quite upset that we were not taking him again to the Spain vs. Portugal game. Hopefully a memory he will cherish for a long time.

Ollie is doing well - edging up to the 11kg mark now and only just started crawling. He has been an absolute legend with very little crying or niggling. I know, easy for me to say when I do not spend too much time with him. But still - when he is with me - he is fine. Dada!!

Looking forward to our holiday in the Transkei. I have not been to that part of the world for ages. Sincerely hope it has beaten the odds and maintained that quaint appeal of untouched beauty. Most importantly - they have baby sitters!! So Karen and I could actually have a grown up conversation, without being interupted. Yay!!
